The Hole In The Lid

Last night, I suddenly got so homesick from seeing Jonathan's recent pictures from Grandpa Teo's birthday dinner.  I still can't believe I had no idea it was happening till it was over.  

Anyhow, tears dried up the moment my mom told me another of her silly instances.  I love Mom for being ever-so-silly - it's really hilarious.  

See that cup to the right?  Notice the lid?  Mom had to buy Dad a hot coffee, which isn't something she does often. Having bought the coffee, she had this crazy idea that a straw was necessary, thinking that the hole in the lid was for the straw haha.  But since the hole is a little too small, she had to settle for the other skinnier straw - the STIRRER.  It's a no wonder Dad, who didn't bother taking a second look, could not sip any coffee at all.  Not to mention..  Why the need for a straw in the first place?!
